In the 2-day program held in the Conference Hall of the hospital, 32 trainees received theoretical and practical training on basic ultrasonography and the use of ultrasound in the emergency room.
Speaking at the opening of the program, GISTU Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tarakçıoğlu expressed his satisfaction with the scientific activities and organizations that are increasing in number and quality every day under the auspices of our University's Faculty of Medicine and said: "Such in-service training is extremely important. Our support for such organizations will continue to increase for all our faculty members in the future. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the realization of the course."
The first day of the program aimed at providing physicians and physician candidates with the basic skills of focused ultrasonography applications in patient care, while theoretical lessons were given on the second day, one-on-one practical applications of the lessons given on the first day were performed. The trainees, who were divided into 4 groups, received Thoracic, Peripheral, Abdominal and Cardiac USG training.
